The competition is open to amateurs and professionals.
2.
Entries must be e-mailed to contests@explore-tv.net. Photos must be taken in Central NY Region. (Roughly that’s Canastota to Canajoharie, Alexandria Bay to Oneonta and all of the Adirondacks.)
3.
You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all photos entered. Images must not have been digitally altered in any way other than necessary burning, dodging and cropping.
4.
There is no limit to number of photos that can be entered. No photo may be entered more than once each year. Please include the following details with your submission: your name and address, a title for the photo, and where the photo was taken.
5.
The producers of “eXplore!” will select a winner each week. Each winner will receive a small prize of two official “eXplore!” Key Chains (with whistle, Compass and LED light). Weekly winners will not be notified in advance but will be mailed their prize. A person can be selected as weekly winner more than once but will only receive a key chain prize once.

A Quarterly Winner will be selected from quarters weekly winners. and will be announced on eXplore! on these dates…

The Quarterly Winner will receive a larger prize and will be notified in advance by e-mail or phone as soon as judging is completed.

At the end of each contest year all winners will be included in a judging for Photo of the Year, Grand Prize Winner.

By entering a photo to the eXplore! Photo Contest, you give eXplore!, permission to post the submission along with your name and city on our website and also include it in the Photo Contest segment of eXplore!.

eXplore! producers reserve the right to change the contest rules without prior notification.

That we a blessed with a abundance of Natural Beauty not only in our parks and wilderness areas but also in our Cities Towns and Villages. There are so many things to do from outdoor sports and activities to parts, festivals parades and tourist attractions. We also have ordinary people doing great and interesting thing. We celebrate that in each episode of eXplore! and encourage others to join us. The photo contest is one of the ways we do that.
