Heart Run and Walk exclusive
New York Mills: "eXplore!", Central New York's own real reality show sent their TV crews to get get a unique perspective of last weeks Heart Run and Walk. "eXplore! is about real people in Central New York doing great things, said eXplore! producer Kim Morrissey. The local television stations do a good job covering the Walk and Run and the associated events, so we decided to feature some of the volunteers and supporters that make America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk the greatest. " Director Walt Morrissey and production assistant Dan Zaglaniczny started out in Barneveld to catch the start of the 30 K run. They then quickly headed off to tape all the starts of the other runs. Meanwhile, Kim Morrissey and videographer Brian Moonan took the eXplore! camera to "Heartbreak Hill" in New York Mills.
"We want to highlight the the folks passing out candy, water and beads, even the volunteers who feed sandwiches and provide coffee to the other volunteers, the radio station DJ’s and the residents who open their driveways and often their homes to the event. These all are unsung heros and we applaud them as well as the walkers and runners." said Morrissey." The Heart Weekend will be featured on the March 11, 2007 episode.

Media Partners Group Named Finalists for the Mohawk Valley Chamber's "Business of the Year" Award
Media Partners Group is one of three finalists for the Mohawk Valley Chamber's "Business of the Year" award in the "For Profit with 50 or less employees" category. The winner of the award in each category will be selected from among the finalists and announced at the 2006 "Business of the Year" award ceremony at noon on Thursday, December 14th, at the Hotel Utica. Steven DiMeo, president of Mohawk Valley Economic Development Growth Enterprise (MV Edge) has been invited to be the speaker at this event.

eXplore! Featured on The Joe Kelly Show
eXplore! was featured on The Joe Kelly Show. eXplore! director Walt Morrissey is usually found behind the camera. That changed when Walt visited the Joe Kelly Show to talk about eXplore! Walt told Joe, “We want to show off those nifty places in Central New York that you may have herd about are not so well known and encourage families to get out and eXplore!” The Joe Kelly Show airs 6pm Sundays on WUTR.

eXplore! Producer Kim Morrissey Speaks at the Hamilton Rotary Club
eXplore! producer Kim Morrissey was the speaker at the Hamilton Rotary Club, which meets Thursdays 12 noon at the Colgate Inn. Kim was invited to speak about her latest project, eXplore - "The Real Reality Show". Rotarians were treated to previews of eXplore! segments as Kim spoke about her vision to promote the lesser known tourism venues of Central New York.
The Rotary meeting ended with Kim being asked to sign a book that the Hamilton Rotary Club donated to the Hamilton Public Library1 her honor. Hiking New York by Rhonda and George Ostertag will be on display at the Hamilton Public Library13 Broad St for a week, then it will placed in circulation.

Producers of eXplore! Announce Official Trademark
The producers of eXplore! announce that the eXplore! logo is a trade mark.
The document granting the trade mark were presented to Walt and Kim Morrissey by James Townsend Esq. of Remington, Gifford, Williams & Colicchio, L.L.P. during September, 2006 eXplore! kickoff party hosted by Danielle Valley View.
A trademark is a word, name, symbol or device which is used in trade with goods to indicate the source of the goods and to distinguish them from the goods of others. Trademark rights may be used to prevent others from using a confusingly similar mark.

New TV Show Allows You to Explore CNY Region
Central New York and the Mohawk Valley get a new weekly television show in September called "eXplore!".
Dubbed the region's first "real reality show, "eXplore! airs four times weekly on WUTR, WFXV and WPNY.
The show celebrates the region as a great place to live, work and play by following families as they get the VIP treatment on surprise visits to events and attractions. The show also will provide an occasional behind-the-scene glimpse of local industry.
Produced by Media Partners Group, the show will "follow families as they explore the lesser known destinations of Central New York," Media Partners Marketing Director Kim Morrissey notes. "We'll visit museums and historical sites, hike and boat in the Adirondacks, or perhaps take part in one of the many festivals and events this area offers."
"We'll give you a front row seat as eXplore! TV crews tour behind the scene and through the eyes of the family," she adds. "We want to encourage you to eXplore! by giving you a glimpse of where to go and what to do by watching eXplore! every week starting Sept. 9."
The show airs every weekend starting Sept. 9 at the following times:

10 a.m. Sunday, WUTR
7:30 p.m. Sunday, WPN
11 p.m. Sunday, WFXV
